Katey is our incredible venue host, Sound healer & Lomi Lomi practitioner. Her and a Lomi Lomi collegue will nourish yours and your beloveds body with a deeply healing and restorative Lomi-Lomi after an authentic Moroccan cleansing ritual - Hammam.
Lomi Lomi is far more than a massage. t is a deeply nurturing ritual designed to calm your nervous system, restore balance and invite your whole body to soften. Rooted in the healing traditions of Hawaii, Lomi Lomi uses long strokes that move rhythmically across your body like gentle ocean waves. Your treatment takes place right next to your beloved.

OUR VENUE
Nestled in the peaceful village of Brynford, surrounded by the beautiful North Wales countryside, Komaia is a lovingly created sanctuary for rest, wellbeing, creativity and connection.
Our non residential retreat days will take place in a The Kali kuta; a spacious, welcoming cabin and The Hush House - which inspired the name of our retreat and is a beautiful circular roundhouse, lovingly built from a magnificent ash tree.
There is the Ember Ring where you and your partner can star gaze around the fire. And Finally, the Treatment Spaces where and your partner will receive indulgence and deeply restorative shared Hammam & massage.
The retreat is non residential with plenty of beautiful places to stay nearby.

Your stay, your choice
We've designed the retreat to give you the freedom to choose accommodation that suits your style and budget- from cosy countryside hideaways to beautiful boutique stays, there are plenty of lovely places nearby to make your weekend together extra special or extra affordable
With local accommodation ranging from £60-£150 per night, a three-night stay could cost as little as £180 per couple. That means your entire retreat experience could cost as little as £1375 per couple, including accommodation.
Accommodation is booked and paid for separately. Retreat begins Thursday 28th Jan 6pm start. Ends Sun 31st after lunch.

How will we take what we've learnt back into our everyday relationship?

This retreat is right for you if;
You and your partner love each other but want time, space, well taught skills to enhance your existing relationship.
You feel comfortable in a group setting (although most of the work is for you and your partner independently).
You are comfortable exploring sensual touch with your partner in a shared space (not sexual - although it can be arousing!)
You are ready to learn life enhancing skills that will make you and your partner more conscious and connected.
You have a level of connection together, are able to repair reasonably from rupture and stay in the space and resolve if there is conflict
You are of any sexual orientation, gender or dynamic of couple and are in an established partnership
You are comfortable with others who may be of a different sexual orientation to yourselves.
You are comfortably with other expressing vulnerability, and intimacy (no sexual) in the space.
You are ready and willing to see patterns and parts of yourself mirrored by your partner with grace and humility.
The retreat is NOT for you if;
You aren't yet ready to be truthful and are still just trying to keep the peace together.
You would struggle to talk to your partner about intimate matters
There is abuse or a misbalance of power within the relationship
Communication has broken down completely
Sharing at times within a group (its ok if this makes you feel nervous - thats normal!)
You are not ready to let down your guard and let your partner see more vulnerable parts of you
You have unprocessed trauma that would be better suited to a more held one to one container
You struggle to hold yourself reasonably when there is rupture between the two of you.
