Before I ventured into the world of sexuality and tantra, I knew there was more below the surface. I KNEW deep down that there was something I wasn't tapping into. I knew that there was an innate part of me that was yet to be reclaimed.
I longed to be free, to feel more, to express more, to be more wild but everything I had learned screamed no. It was wrong (even dangerous) to be too sexual, I would be too much, unlovable, scary even to partners if I embraced these parts of me.
I also thought there was something wrong with me and that my anatomy wasn't working. I could orgasm but it was difficult and took a million volts from my vibrator on my clitoris. Inside my vagina I felt completely numb so penetration felt... well… shit. Touching my cervix made me feel sick and sometimes I was disgusted by my own vulva, my fluids, my sexual body.
I got to a point where I just didn't feel like a sexual person anymore. It all felt too difficult. Sex was supposed to be fun, so why didn't it feel that way for me?
